John Lawson’s Circus

The award‑winning John Lawson’s Circus returns to Millets Farm Centre this May Half‑Term, bringing its trademark energy and charm back to the big top.
With a completely human cast and an exciting lineup of acts, the show delivers a captivating, family‑friendly experience filled with skill, laughter, and spectacle. It’s a half‑term highlight you won’t want to miss!
Dates & Timings
Sunday 24th – Saturday 30th May
Show times 10:30am / 1:00pm & 3:30pm
Each show lasts approximately an hour.
SEND session: Thursday 28th May 3.30pm.
For the SEND session, the big top will have a lower capacity (half our usual capacity) and quieter music for each acts performance. There will be no flashing lights or strobes, no smoke or water however as part of the show the big top will be in darkness prior to the start of some of the acts. Please also note that the show usually features some gentle audience participation, with visitors closer to the front tending to be chosen for this! We hope these adaptations will enable those families with SEND children to enjoy the show however, please make your own judgements based on your individual needs as to whether these measures make it more suitable for you.
Tickets & Prices
£9.99 per person. (Under 2’s free of charge).
Both children (2 and over) and adults must have a ticket. A fixed online booking fee of £1 will be applied to all transactions at the checkout.
Tickets will only be available to buy on the door (card payments only) if capacity allows so we suggest pre-booking your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
There is disabled/wheelchair access and seating however as this is limited please let us know in advance (a minimum of 72 hours before your visit), if you require a wheelchair space and email bookings@milletsfarmcentre.com, please include your booked date and time.

This year we’re bringing Magic and mystery all the way from Ukraine with Magic man Novoselev and co. From Hungary Balance and Strength on the Perch, Duo Vertical. Swinging Trapeze from Chile with Octavia
The Uk’s own Emelia high in the roof of the Big Top. Foot-juggling from Hungary with Miss Timea.
Back by public demand are our incredible Trio Iax on The High Wire from Kyrgyzstan. Iona with her fast paced Hula Hoops from the UK. Laser show with our Anglo Hungarian Laser girl Mya.
And not forgetting Clown Kirubin who has been delighting our audience for the last 2 seasons and is joining the team for again for 2026.

Location
Located next to our maze field, accessed via our overflow car park. Follow signage on site when you arrive.
Other Useful Information:
- No animals take part in the Circus.
- Toddlers and babies under 2 years old do not require a ticket and may sit on the lap of a full paying adult but this show is best suited to over 3’s.
- All children under 16 years old are required to be supervised fully during the show by an adult over the age of 18 years.
- As with all good shows there will be flashing/strobe lights, a smoke machine, water and loud noises.
- Younger children may prefer to wear ear defenders.
- Each show will involve some friendly audience participation.
- John Lawsons will be selling merchandise, popcorn and candyfloss before the start of each show.
- Dogs are not allowed inside the big top (of course, with the exception of all assistance dogs).
- Assistance dogs should be supervised and kept under your control throughout your visit, remaining on a lead and wearing the appropriate tabard or harness.
- Tickets are transferable but non-refundable.
