Farm Shop
Full time OR Part time Kitchen Assistant required, Monday – Friday, 9am – 4:30pm. Part time hours also available.
Millets Farm Centre is currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join their home produce team within the Kitchens based in the Farm Shop.
Your main duties include: Assisting with production of our products such as quiches, cheesecakes and soups. Cleaning of the kitchen area as well as assisting with stock management and the daily running of the kitchen. You would be working under the home produce manager to ensure that our products are made to a high standard.
No experience required for this position as we will provide training for this role, however previous kitchen experience would be preferred, but not essential.
Rate of pay dependant on age and in line with the living wage for those over 23.
Part time Bakery Assistant, Sundays 3am – 11am. Additional hours available.
Millets Farm Centre is currently recruiting for an assistant to join their artisan bakery team on a part time basis.
Your role would be to assist our team of bakers with kitchen prep, packaging items, loading and unloading ovens and assisting with table work.
No experience is required for this position, and full training will be provided via our head baker.
Rate of pay dependant on experience. Over 18’s only.
Rose cottage Café within Sprouts Playbarn
Sundays 08:45 – 18:00
Millets Farm Centre is currently recruiting for a Cafe Assistant to join their team, located within Rose Cottage at Sprouts Play Barn.
Working as part of a team, you would be expected to serve customers, help making hot and cold beverages and lease with the kitchen when taking food orders. Rose Cottage is set within our soft play centre, so ensuring our families our looked after, and are able to enjoy a fun filled, clean and safe environment is essential to your role. Excellent customer service and a can do attitude is a must!
Full training will be provided on how to use our barista coffee machines.

Grounds Positions
Millets Farm Centre is currently recruiting for a full time grounds worker to join the outdoor team. Helping to ensure the farm and guest area’s are presentable, maintained and tidy is key to our thriving business.
Main Duties:
- Ensuring the site is readied for opening each morning by sweeping, litter picking, emptying bins and collecting trolleys from around the car park.
- Ensuring the Farm Shop floor is cleaned each morning.
- Upkeeping and maintenance of the grounds including, landscaping, mowing, strimming, planting, pruning and weeding as required.
- Gritting the paths and roads in colder seasons.
- Assisting with vegetable and fruit picking.
- Operating equipment to a safe and efficient standard.
- Undertaking any reasonable requests from your team leader/ site manager.
Full driving license is essential for this role, and previous experience as a grounds worker is desired.

Sprouts Playbarn
Sunday shifts available. Shift time 8:45am – 6pm.
Sprouts Play Barn is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their Sunday team! Checking guest in on admissions, helping stock the shop, selling items and making sure that children are safe on the play frame are the essential parts to this role.

Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant
Saturday OR Sunday Front of House Assistant – Variable Hours between 8:30am – 6:00pm.
The Farm House Kitchen is looking for a Front of House Assistant to join their Saturday OR Sunday team.
You would be assisting with clearing tables, taking food to table, serving on the tills and making hot and cold beverages.
Experience for this role is not essential and full training will be provided in all area’s.

Administative Work

Thursday – Sunday: 09.00 – 15.00.
Funky Huts are new to the Millets walkway. We build and sell luxury, handcrafted shepherds huts. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to manage our Shepherds Hut pitch at Millets Farm. You will work from our hut in the walkway; talking to members of the public about our products, booking consultations, exploring sales opportunities and helping to build our client database.
Full training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has strong communication and sales skills.
