Farm Shop

Full time OR Part time Kitchen Assistant required, Monday – Friday, 9am – 4:30pm. Part time hours also available. 

Millets Farm Centre is currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join their home produce team within the Kitchens based in the Farm Shop. 

Your main duties include: Assisting with production of our products such as quiches, cheesecakes and soups. Cleaning of the kitchen area as well as assisting with stock management and the daily running of the kitchen. You would be working under the home produce manager to ensure that our products are made to a high standard. 

No experience required for this position as we will provide training for this role, however previous kitchen experience would be preferred, but not essential. 

Rate of pay dependant on age and in line with the living wage for those over 23.

Part time Bakery Assistant, Sundays 3am – 11am. Additional hours available. 

Millets Farm Centre is currently recruiting for an assistant to join their artisan bakery team on a part time basis. 

Your role would be to assist our team of bakers with kitchen prep, packaging items, loading and unloading ovens and assisting with table work. 

No experience is required for this position, and full training will be provided via our head baker. 

Rate of pay dependant on experience. Over 18’s only.

Seasonal Work

Summer Seasonal work, various hours. 

Millets Farm Centre have a busy summer ahead of us! We are looking for a supervisor to join our events team in the Maize Maze this year! 

Your role would be: Ensuring staff are where they should be and working to the standard set out by Millets Farm, assisting with running the event, supporting the management team with daily tasks and duties, upholding health and safety as well as leading a team of seasonal staff through the day. 

The ideal candidate will be someone who is organised with a can-do attitude, who can adapt to all situations and confidently support a team through an event based day. The Maize is a busy time of year for us at the farm, so leadership and previous experience in a supervisor or team leader role would be essential. 

Rate of pay dependant on experience.

Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant

Saturday Front of House Assistant  – Variable Hours between 8:30am – 6:00pm. 

The Farm House Kitchen is looking for a Front of House Assistant to join their Saturday team.

You would be assisting with clearing tables, taking food to table, serving on the tills and making hot and cold beverages. 

Experience for this role is not essential and full training will be provided in all area’s.

Rate of pay dependant on age and in line with the living wage for those over 23.

Funky Huts are new to the Millets walkway. We build and sell luxury, handcrafted shepherds huts. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to manage our Shepherds Hut pitch at Millets Farm. You will work from our hut in the walkway; talking to members of the public about our products, booking consultations, exploring sales opportunities and helping to build our client database.

Full training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has strong communication and sales skills.
