Millets Farm is less than 4 miles from the South Oxfordshire Crematorium and has plenty of free parking.

The Lakeview suite is an exclusive space, with private balconies, which offers a tranquil and beautiful rustic setting above our Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant. The suite is easily accessible for all with its own private lift and toilet facilities.

We can offer wake packages for 20 to 120 guests.

Prior to your booking we will discuss your requirements with you, offer suggestions to help personalise your function and ensure everything is set up exactly as you need it.

You made the whole process so easy from start to finish. It took a huge amount of pressure off us all, knowing you had all the arrangements in hand, at such a stressful time. So many people commented how wonderful the food was and we would all totally agree. The venue and the food were spot on and your team were so lovely. We still have some of the delicious scones in the freezer at Mum’s - we had some today so you are still feeding us! Thank you so much for making such a difficult day go as well as it possibly could. Thank you so much for all your help in making Monday such a lovely afternoon for my father-in-law's friends and family. I really appreciated the time that you gave me when we met, the refreshments were just delicious, you kept us very well supplied in tea and coffee and the room worked so well. We have had many thank you's and compliments for such a lovely afternoon tea and we feel my father-in-law would have been very proud that he was given such a good send off. I hope we can return to the Lakeview suite for a happier occasion at some stage as it is a beautiful room and very comfortable and well appointed for a gathering.
Thank you for organising and managing Mum’s wake last Friday. Kay and I were delighted with how it all went. As you had advised us, there was plenty of food!! Delicious too. Many of our guests have commented on what an excellent venue it was and how comfortable, especially given it was the hottest day of the year. Thank you for your professional, quiet efficiency and all you did behind the scenes to ensure a smooth event.
I just wanted to say thank you for hosting my father’s wake on Tuesday 24th August. The venue gave us the opportunity for the guests to mingle, share treasured memories and enjoy the lovely surroundings with delicious food. Your care and attention during the wake was above and beyond our expectations. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to you and your team.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff struck the perfect balance of ensuring that everything ran seamlessly while respecting the quiet reflection of the occasion. Their professionalism and kindness were deeply appreciated, and the care taken in organising it was evident in every detail. The food was exceptional, with the sandwiches beautifully presented. There was something for everyone. Many guests commented on the high quality of the food. And the scones were a real winner! Most importantly, many people said that this was not just a wake, but a true celebration. Stories were exchanged, laughter and tears mixed together, and the event provided a space to cherish memories in the most heartfelt way. It was a testament to the life of our mother. Overall, a beautiful farewell, managed with grace and thoughtfulness.
I would like to thank you and all of your team for the excellent catering and superb service at our wake for my sister this afternoon. Everyone enjoyed it and commented on the superb venue. The setup was absolutely what we wanted and my sister would have been proud of it all. I will certainly recommend you and your team to anyone I know who may require a similar service.
Just to thank you so much for all your hard work to make the Wake after my husband's funeral so perfect. The food was so beautifully presented and the sandwiches so fresh (not easy on such a warm day). We have heard nothing but glowing comments from family and friends who attended.
