PYO Pumpkins
Our pumpkin field will be open again this Autumn, packed full of plump pumpkins to pick, spooky props to explore and plenty of fun for the whole family to enjoy.
Open at weekends only from the 27th September and then daily from 18th – 31st October, our pumpkin patch features loads of Halloween themed props and photo opportunities. So grab a wheelbarrow and explore the fields to pick the perfect pumpkin! Whether you want to cook or carve we have all sorts of shapes, sizes and colours to choose from.
Entry tickets vary depending on the date you plan to visit. Everyone who wants to enter the patch must have an admission ticket, with the exception of toddlers and babies under 2 years old who do not require an admission ticket and may enter free of charge with a full paying adult. Booking in advance is essential as tickets sell out fast!
Pumpkins and squash are charged separately when you leave the field, prices range depending on size and examples will be shown at the entrance and again at the exit. Please bring your own bags for life to transport pumpkins to your car as wheelbarrows can’t leave the patch.

Homegrown Pumpkins
Our pumpkins are grown right here at Millets Farm. If you visit us early in the season then you will still see the stalks from where they had grown. As we welcome thousands of visitors through each year, the patch is then topped up with homegrown pumpkins that have been grown in other parts of the Millets Farm site. This ensures that there is always a supply of plump, healthy pumpkins ready for our customers to pick and take home with them from our events.
Other useful information:
- Pre-booking required. If we are sold out we will not be allowing walk-in customers
- Halloween merchandise and pumpkin carving kits can be purchased at our Pumpkin Patch and within the Farm Shop
- Millets Farm is a working farm and the ground is uneven in places which can make it difficult for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
- For health and safety reasons, we ask that no motorised mobility aids are taken into the pumpkin field.
- Sorry, no dogs are allowed into the PYO fields. However, assistance dogs are permitted in all areas, and we politely request that they wear appropriate signage to help both our team and other customers understand their need to be there. They must remain on a lead, be kept under control and in close proximity to the disabled person throughout your visit. With the exception of our Dog Day on 31st October.
- Carers can receive free entry. Valid form of ID will need to be emailed to bookings@milletsfarmcentre.com before booking to confirm this. Please see our full carers policy here
- Please wear sensible footwear as the ground is very uneven in places
