Farm Shop
37.5 hours per week
Mondays 8:00am – 16:00pm, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
(With scope for later finishes during seasonal hours, especially at Christmas)
We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Deli Supervisor to lead our busy deli counter and ensure our customers receive outstanding service and high-quality food every time.
About the Role
As our Deli Supervisor, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the deli counter, including preparing and serving fresh produce, maintaining displays, and ensuring high hygiene standards. You’ll also be responsible for guiding and motivating the deli team to deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising the deli team and daily operations
- Serving customers, slicing cheeses, and preparing deli items
- Maintaining attractive and well-stocked displays
- Ensuring all food safety and hygiene procedures are followed
- Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering
- Providing training and guidance to team members
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a deli, food retail, or hospitality environment
- Supervisory or team leader experience preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Passion for food and great customer service
- Flexible approach to working, especially during busy seasonal periods
Bakery Kitchen Assistant
Part-Time – Permanent
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Bakery Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team, helping us create freshly baked goods for our customers. If you have a passion for baking and can commit to early morning starts, we’d love to hear from you.
Position 1 – 24.5 hours per week
- Mondays: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Fridays: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Sundays: 7:00am – 3:00pm
(Overtime available to cover holidays and sickness on both positions)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with baking cakes, tray bakes and other products
- Preparing ingredients and following our bespoke recipes accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Supporting with packaging and labelling baked goods
- Helping with stock rotation and organisation
- Assisting on the counter when required
What We’re Looking For
- Must be able to easily commute for early morning starts
- Experience as a cook or in a bakery environment is desirable but not essential – full training provided
- Good timekeeping and reliability are essential
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant
Head Chef – Immediate Start Available
Full Time | 5 out of 7 days per week | 7:00am – 4:00pm
£38,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Chef to take charge of our kitchen operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled leader who is passionate about fresh, seasonal cooking, using produce grown on-site.
This is a permanent, full-time role with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating, and managing the kitchen team
- Ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and allergen awareness
- Designing and developing menus to reflect home-grown and seasonal produce
- Managing staff rotas, authorising holidays, and monitoring sickness levels
- Overseeing stock control, ordering, and supplier management
- Completing regular audits and maintaining compliance with all regulations
- Supporting with event catering where required
- Running the kitchen efficiently and effectively to consistently deliver quality
Requirements
- Proven Head Chef experience is essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management
- Ability to manage rotas, stock, and budgets effectively
- Creative approach to menu development with an emphasis on fresh, local produce
- Must be a driver (multi-site responsibilities and rural location)
- Flexible, reliable, and confident in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Minimum 8 hours per week – 7am – 4pm either Saturday or Sunday
The Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant, at Millets Farm, is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join their Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant team at the weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s menu standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and cooking stations.
