Farm Shop

37.5 hours per week

Mondays 8:00am – 16:00pm, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
(With scope for later finishes during seasonal hours, especially at Christmas)

We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Deli Supervisor to lead our busy deli counter and ensure our customers receive outstanding service and high-quality food every time.

About the Role

As our Deli Supervisor, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the deli counter, including preparing and serving fresh produce, maintaining displays, and ensuring high hygiene standards. You’ll also be responsible for guiding and motivating the deli team to deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising the deli team and daily operations
  • Serving customers, slicing cheeses, and preparing deli items
  • Maintaining attractive and well-stocked displays
  • Ensuring all food safety and hygiene procedures are followed
  • Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering
  • Providing training and guidance to team members

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a deli, food retail, or hospitality environment
  • Supervisory or team leader experience preferred
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant

Senior Chef de Partie / Junior Sous

Full-Time | 5 out of 7 days | 42.5 hours per week (7:00am – 4:00pm)

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join our busy and energetic Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant team.

This is a permanent full-time position, offering stable hours and the opportunity to work with fresh home grown produce.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes using home-grown and locally sourced ingredients
  • Working across two unique kitchens on the site, supporting daily service and prep
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Contributing to menu ideas with fresh, seasonal produce
  • Supporting kitchen organisation, stock control, and waste management

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen is essential (CDP ideally)
  • A full UK driving licence due to rural location and early start times
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine passion for quality food
  • Knowledge of or interest in seasonal cooking and home-grown produce
  • Must be available for an immediate start
  • No agency or seasonal applicants – this is a long-term role

Weekend Chef de Partie.

Minimum 8 hours per week – 7am – 4pm either Saturday or Sunday

The Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant, at Millets Farm, is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join their Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant team at the weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s menu standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and cooking stations.

Seasonal Till Operative – serving customers in a timely and efficient manner, while delivering top end customer service. Helping with stocking crisps and keeping the general till area clean and tidy. Must be able to handle cash and card transactions.
