Before we all know it… Half Term will be here, as schools break up again at this funny time of year. ‘What shall we do? Where shall we go?’ you all shout. Well, Millets has just the answer to get you out and about! We have exciting things planned so please do not fret. And they’re all indoors so you won’t even get wet!
Monday 16th February
On the first day of February Half Term we have got two fantastic events lined up; a performance by WhatNot Theatre based on the classic ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and a fun filled Slime Workshop! Find out the details below.
‘Tea Time with Hatter & Hare’ Performance
Join WhatNot Theatre at Millets Farm this half term for a new sparkling adventure; Tea Time with Hatter & Hare. Bring your imagination and take a tumbling down the rabbit hole to find our absurd Mad Hatter & March Hare still sipping tea and swapping seats. Wander through Wonderland as our eccentric yet charming pair re-tell the tales of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland…with more costume changes than you could shake a croquet stick at! Encounter the grinning Cheshire Cat, the furious Queen of Hearts, a nervous White Rabbit and an all-knowing Caterpillar!
WhatNot Theatre brings all the fun and foolishness in their award winning show, Tea Time with Hatter & Hare. This is a relaxed performance, accessible and suitable for all the family.

Show lasts approx. 45 mins with gentle audience interaction and an option to participate.

Slime Workshops
It’s time to get creative and join us for a workshop full of super slimey fun! Design your own slime, then learn how to mix it and create 3 mini tubs of different slime to take home with you.

The workshop begins with a short, engaging story to spark creativity and set the stage for three exciting builds. We encourage every child to unleash their imagination with no step-by-step instructions. Don’t worry, within the story we will show plenty of awesome LEGO® models for inspiration, plus give lots of guidance and support whilst building. Expect more LEGO® bricks than they could ever wish for and the chance to build either solo or with friends. It’s all about fun and creativity!
At the end, you’ll see their incredible creations on display! This is the perfect opportunity to drop your children off, relax for 2 hours and return to see their masterpieces.

Lego Workshops

Mini Makers
Join us for some creative fun this half term, where we’ll be celebrating all four seasons with a range of baking, decorating and crafting projects!
Your child will bake their own ice cream cone cupcakes and make delicious fruit rainbow skewers to take home and enjoy (if they last that long!), as well as getting crafty in our creation corner!
Each mini makers sessions includes the following to celebrate the seasons…

Friday 20th February
On the fifth and final day of February Half Term we have got the popular Brush Party taking place and Magic Phil is back! Find out the details below.
Children’s Brush Party
Join us for a children’s Brush Party session where your little one will release their inner Van Gough with a guided painting workshop…
Each child will be given all the supplies and tutoring to paint a gorgeous 16” x 12” painting on canvas which they will be proud to have on display!
Our chosen themes for this year are : Llama (10.30am), Highland Cow (1pm) and Sloth (3.30pm). Everyone will paint the same theme in each session.
DATES & TIMINGS
Friday 20th February. Each session will have a different theme:
10.30-12noon: ‘Llama’
1-2.30pm: ‘Highland Cow’
3.30-5pm: ‘Sloth’

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION
- Doors will open 10 mins before the start of the session
- Suitable for over 6 years
- Acrylic paints are used which are notoriously difficult to remove once the paint has dried. Aprons are provided but accidents happen. We strongly advise parents and children dress accordingly as we cannot be held responsible for any paint spills or marks on clothing.
- Unfortunately as we are having to restrict our capacity to this event, we are unable to add additional adults onto bookings. If we were to allow more adults in then this would restrict the number of children who could participate.

February Half Term at Webbs Garden Centre
Spark your children’s creativity and curiosity with two delightful activities available at Webbs Garden Centre, Millets Farm. Running 16th – 20th February, 10am-3pm.
From decorating vibrant terracotta pots and sowing seeds in our Sow and Grow session to designing charming wooden birdboxes in our Decorate a Bird Box activity, your little ones will enjoy a joyful blend of creativity, learning, and fun.
