Our expert Fishmonger, David Pizzey, always has a large selection of fresh, smoked fish and shellfish on display for sale; along with frozen and other smoked fish in the pre-pack cabinets. The fish is line caught fresh from Looe in Cornwall. All smoked salmon is from traditional Scottish smokehouses, using fresh salmon to a standard good enough for royalty.
Special Occasions
If you have an occasion - wedding, birthday or special event - David will gut and dress a salmon / prepare a lobster and cater for all your needs. Or, if there is a certain fish you need for a recipe, please give him a ring and he will guarantee to get it for you - season permitting.
Please note there is only a self service counter for the Fishmonger on a Sunday and Monday.
The Fishmonger counter is open until 5.30pm Tuesday - Saturday.
