Millets Farm Fun Family Dog Show

Join us for our beloved annual family fun dog show, celebrating all things dogs and creating the ultimate doggy day out on Saturday 11th May!
Our Dog Show is not only a fantastic event to attend for all dog lovers, but it is also a wonderful opportunity to support a great cause, The Guide Dogs Association!
For those that are not dog owners, come along for free and soak up the atmosphere as a spectator. With a variety of stalls, including treats for dogs and humans, a demonstration from The Guide Dogs Association, music, BBQ & refreshments bar, it really is a day out not to be missed!
Perhaps you are thinking of becoming a dog owner and want to see which breed is best for you – there will be lots of dogs woofing about!
Join us for a tail-wagging good time!

Starting from 10am-4.00pm on Saturday 11th May.
Prices:
£3.50 per dog / class entry
Dogs & Handlers can enter any of our 11 wagtastic classes for £3.50 each, with all proceeds being donated to The Guide Dogs. Plus, there will be some great prizes on offer for the class winners!
If you would just like to come along and enjoy the day, then entry is FREE.

11.00am – Fabulous Fella
We are looking for male dogs over the age of one year who look healthy, happy, bright eyed and socially comfortable. Good obedience is also essential, and you will be asked to demonstrate this whilst running with your dog controlled on a lead. The judge will assess their movement and how it fits with their breed.
11.20am – Puppy Power (Puppies Aged 14 weeks – 12 months)
Looking for adorable and content puppies who bounce through the ring with youthful joy!
11.40am – Best Cross Breed
This class shows off the best mixes of breeds. Can the judge guess the breeds mixed in your dogs DNA? Show off your dog’s looks style and character whilst running around the ring.
12.00pm – Egg & Spoon Race
We all know how hard it is balancing an egg shape on a spoon, but it becomes even harder when you have your dog on a lead with you too! Winner will be the dog and owner who manage to have their egg on their spoon at the end!
12.20pm – Waggiest Tail
Can you “wag” your way to victory? It really is that simple, or is it?
12.40pm – Musical Sit
Can your dog sit and sit fast? Dance with your dog until the music stops and then quickly command them to sit. The last to sit is out! Winner is the last dog remaining in the game.
1.40pm – Fancy Dress
Dress to impress, either your dog or both handler and dog can enter as a fancy dress act. The crowd will have a huge say in who wins in this class.
2.00pm – Child Handler (Handler Age 5+)
Calling all child enthusiast to demonstrate their skills at handling their four-legged friend. Good general knowledge about their dog is essential as well as their lead control. All entrants will receive a small treat for taking part
2.20pm – Loveliest Lady
We are looking for female dogs over the age of one year who look healthy, happy, bright eyed and socially comfortable. 2.40pm – Best Sausage Catcher
Can your dog resist the most delicious Millets sausage’s! Can you go the distance? One of the most fun classes to watch! You will be responsible for throwing a sausage for your dog to catch – the dog that goes the distance is the winner!
3.00pm – Judges Favourite
We all have our favourites – but will your dog be the judges? Is your dog a people pleaser / cuddly / cute / happy… let us be the judge of that!
