From gremlins and goblins to witches with charm, we invite you all to our Spook-tacular Farm! With a circus full of tricks, a disco full of spooks and fields full of pumpkins, there's spookily good fun to be had by all...if you dare! PYO Pumpkins
We have been nurturing a huge number of pumpkins in our fields this year. Come along this Autumn to pick your own pleasingly plump one!
Opening from the 30th September, weekends only until 14th October and then daily until 31st October.
Everyone who wants to enter the fields must have an admission ticket – booking in advance is essential as tickets sell out fast! (Toddlers and babies under 2 years old can enter the fields free of charge). The patch will be Halloween themed, with lots of props and photo ops, whilst remaining suitable for a family audience.
Once in the field you choose the pumpkins you wish to take home with you and pay for these before leaving. Wheelbarrows will be available for you to use to transport your pumpkins to the exit desk. Pumpkins/squash prices vary depending on the size and variety of the pumpkins. Prices will be advised at entry to the pumpkin patch and again at exit.

Location
Located in the PYO fields. Please follow the signs to Sprouts Play Barn and park on the grass car park and follow the signs to the pumpkin patch.
Other useful information:
- Pre-booking required. If we are sold out we will not be allowing walk-in customers
- Halloween merchandise and pumpkin carving kits can be purchased at our Pumpkin Patch and within the Farm Shop
- Millets Farm is a working farm and the ground is uneven in places which can make it difficult for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
- Sorry, no dogs are allowed into the PYO fields, with the exception of service dogs

- Please wear sensible footwear as the ground is very uneven in places
- Please bring your own re-usable carrier bags to transport the pumpkins back to your car

DID YOU KNOW…
Pumpkins are actually a fruit!
The largest pumpkin ever recorded was over 2,600lbs!
Each pumpkin has about 500 seeds.
There are more than 45 different varieties of pumpkin.
Most pumpkins are orange but they can come in green, pink, red, white and even blue!
Every single part of the pumpkin is edible – even the skin and stem!
A freshly cut pumpkin will keep in the fridge for 2-3 days or 6-8 months in the freezer.
John Lawsons Halloween Circus
Roll up, roll up! John Lawson’s Circus is back this October Half Term!
This thrilling, fun family show, features lots of new and popular acts especially for the whole family to enjoy!

£9.50 per person. Under 2’s free, when sitting on an adults lap.

New location next to our maze field, accessed via our overflow car park. Follow signage on site when you arrive.

- Featuring new and popular acts, John Lawson’s circus for 2023 is family friendly.
- Please note this show contains flashing and strobe lighting.
- Each performance lasts approximately 1 hour.
- Acts are correct at time of publishing but may change nearer the actual event.
- No animals take part in the Circus.
- Seating is not allocated.
- All children (2 and over) and adults must have a ticket.
- There is disabled/wheelchair access and seating however as this is limited please let us know in advance (bookings@milletsfarmcentre.com)

Pumpkins by Night
Get ready to immerse yourself in the Halloween spirit with spooky woodlands, live acts, and a pumpkin to pick!
Follow our woodland trail complete with live actors, which will finish with entry to our vibrant and fun packed pumpkin field.
Grab a wheelbarrow and pick a pumpkin, then enjoy our sets of live entertainment. Delicious alfresco dinner options are available from one of our visiting food trucks, washed down by a local ale from the Parlour Brew bar. Children can enjoy the popular bale mountain and there will be a face painter available too. An unforgettable experience for the whole family.
Dates & Timings
Open 13th & 14th October. Then 20th-28th October. Doors open at 5.40pm. Last entry 8.40pm, event closes at 10pm.

Entry to our Pumpkins by Night can be found at the far end of our maze complex, on the overflow grass car park (turn right once you come down the driveway).
Useful Information
- Pumpkins picked that evening will be priced depending on their size. (Prices vary between £1 – £8).
- Merchandise will be available to purchase at the admissions kiosk.
- Food and drink will be available to purchase, ranging from pizzas to burgers, crepes and a fully stocked bar.
- Face painting pricing to be confirmed.
- Tickets are for your arrival time, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like.
- Remain vigilant, dear guests and remember we recommend this event for families with 5 – 16 year olds, or it could be the perfect date night with a twist!

The Woodland Trail Story
If you want a sneak peek at what to expect on the trail…
Once a year, as Autumn takes hold, a sinister presence stirs in the shadows upon Millets pumpkin fields and woodlands.
It is said that during October, that witches of the Moon rise from their slumber, driven by incredible desire, seeking to steal the essence of youth from innocent souls so they can become young and beautiful forevermore!
As you wander through our woodland trail… can you make it past the witches lair with their cauldron of ageless enchantment?

Sprouts Play Barn Spooktacular Disco
Join the Sprouts team for this Spooooktacular evening full of play frame climbing and disco dancing fun!
Children can enjoy our huge play frame exploring all the play levels at night time with the lights down low and music up high!
Spaces for these evenings are limited, so please pre-book online in advance. Tickets cannot be purchased on the night of the event.
Our Rose Cottage Cafe will be open during the evening for disco goers to purchase refreshments.
