 Other useful information:

We suggest families allow >2 hours to visit the maze attraction and complete all the activities.

Millets Maze is located on the overflow car park.

Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult.
Sorry we cannot allow dogs into the maze grounds.
In the event of heavy rain the maze site may be closed for health and safety reasons.
Due to uneven ground the maize maze pathways may be unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

 History of the maze:

Starting in 1997 Millets Maize Maze certainly made itself known with people visiting from far and wide to try out the UK's first and world and World Record Holding Maize Maze. With 3.73 miles of pathway and covering almost 8 acres it took some visitors 4 hours to complete it! A maze cut into the maize means that unfortunately it must be harvested towards the end of the year and the crop is fed to the cattle. However this does provide a perfect opportunity for us to create a new maze every year.

Maize is a tropical plant which grows to heights of 7ft tall or more if aided by the perfect weather conditions so let's hope for lots of sunshine and a little rain!

Our Maize Maze is planted in April to ensure its ready for the opening in July. At the end of the summer, the maze is closed to prepare for our Halloween Howl spooktacular! At the end of the year the crop is cut and the field ploughed.
