An abundant cheese counter:
We endevour to stock all the popular classics, such as Colston Bassett Stilton, Cornish Yarg, Brie du Meaux and White stilton with Apricots, in addition to a wide range of local cheeses from local dairies including the renowned Fowlers from Solihull with their range of Warwickshire Truckle varieties, Croome Cuisine from Whittington, Worcestershire with their award winning Hereford Hop and Simon Weavers organic bries from Stow-on-the-World.
Our coded labelling system will help you to identify the country of origin of each cheese, whether it's a cows, goats or sheeps cheese, whether it's pastuerised or unpastuerised and if it's suitable for vegetarians. However please do not hesitate to ask for a taste if your struggeling to decide.
Antipasti:
Choose from a selection of stuffed olives, stuffed peppers, sun dried or sun blush tomatoes, yellowbell pumpkins or banderilles to name a few. All sold by weight allowing you to have as much or as little as you like!
Fresh Coffee Beans:
Use our strength guide to help you choose the perfect coffee, whether to wake you up in the morning or to enjoy after your evening meal. Sold by weight there's no need to buy more than you need and we can grind your beans to be suitable for a caffetiere, filter or perculator. Now stocking the delicious and very popular Tikki beans as used in the Carrot Cake Cafe.
Delicious Oils and Vinegars on tap:
With different styles and sizes of corked presentation bottle these wonderful flavoured oils and vinegars are a must for a keen cook and a great gift idea for a foodie. We offer a re-fill service so once you've purchased the bottle bring it back again and again to be refilled and only pay for the contents.
Homemade Soups:
Back for Autumn/Winter are our Homemade soups. These are a great way for us to use some of the produce that doesn't look quite nice enough to make it onto the shelf! Choose from our large range of flavours at £1.85 for a single portion pot or £2.80 for a double portion pot.
Savoury Selection:
Baked daily we have one person sized pies, sausage rolls, vegetarian pastries and many variations on the traditional Cornish Pasty, from Pork and Apple to Steak and Stilton, all made in the heart of Cornwall. Our pies are supplied by Mad About Pies in Gloucestershire who pride themselves on using the best quality free range chicken and beef for their fillings, and these pies are absolutely crammed with delicious filling. Add to this samosas, barjis, scotch eggs and spring rolls and every member of the family should be catered for!
The Handmade Scotch Egg Company: These Scotch Eggs are like no other and once you've tried one you'll never go back! Choose from a variety of wonderful flavours such as Scrumpy - Free range pork with loads of apple, onion and fresh sage; or Black Watch - Rich black pudding and free range pork. Also included in the range are Vegetarian Scotch Eggs and a Gluten Free Scotch Egg.
Homemade Quiches:
With every single stage made from fresh ingredients in house our quiches have an excellent reputation that's building fast. We bake a selection fresh every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays but often sell out so if you have a particular flavour in mind it's always a good idea to give us a call and we'll make it specifically for you. We can also bake quiches to order with 24 hours notice in the week.
We make individual, medium and large in bacon and vegetarian varieties. Bacon quiches contain bacon and one vegetable and Vegetable quiches contain two different vegetables. All quiches contain plenty of mature Wyke cheddar and are made with local Clay Hall free range eggs.
