Elegant Ball
24th April 2010Elegance, sophistication and glamour – welcome to the ball of all balls!
On Saturday 24 April 2010 Oxfordshire will be home to the most stunning and stylish ball the county has ever seen. Appropriately named the ‘Elegant Ball’, the event will take place in a beautiful marquee within the grounds of Millets Farm Centre. It will appeal to the more discerning party goer and is most certainly ‘the’ date for the diary...
The event will mark the first of such balls, which will be held bi-annually. Tables of 10 will be priced at £1,000.
The Elegant Ball will raise money for Oxfordshire’s charity SeeSaw, which helps children and their families both before and after a major bereavement, helping them to move forward and to face the future with hope. 75% of monies raised through ticket sales will go to SeeSaw.
One of SeeSaw’s Patron’s, Raymond Blanc OBE says “We’re thrilled that this marvellous event will be celebrating SeeSaw’s work with bereaved children whilst raising much needed funds in its 10th anniversary year”.
Michael Ashton, Managing Director of catering company Elegant Cuisine, is the brains behind the Elegant Ball.
Michael comments: “There will be no compromise at the Elegant Ball. It will feature a champagne reception and a stunning menu complemented with specially selected wines. Fantastic entertainment will provide guests with a night to remember – all set in a sumptuous marquee.”
The entertainment will include a live band, cabaret and Oxford’s ‘Out of the Blue’. There will be a short auction for prizes that ‘money can’t buy.’
Elegant Cuisine will be donating the services of Elegant Cuisine at no charge and is also funding the live band, cabaret and entertainment. Peter Florey from Florey Marquees will be providing the marquee at cost. Therefore, there will be no cuts in quality.
